STORY
In a world where arranged marriages are common and even legally binding, what do you do with the kids that refuse to cooperate? You send them here, to Livingston Academy, a boarding school in sunny Florida. Our well-trained staff and state-of-the-art facilities will give children a superb education, all while subtly encouraging them to a more agreeable frame of mind.
One more thing before you get settled in, however. You may notice that our students and staff seem... oddly familiar. Like characters out of stories you heard when you were young. There's nothing strange about this, we assure you. It's just part of Livingston's... magic.
Welcome to the rainy season—you’ll likely see a thunderstorm every day, complete with spectacular lightning. Bad if you’re heading to the beach, but good if you don’t want temperatures to get into the hundreds. As it is, it’s usually in the nineties during the day, and almost never below the seventies at night. Please remember that while classes may be out, the school rules still apply to students and faculty.

(2 sub-boards) Here is where you can post your application and claim your PB. Just be sure to see who's already taken, and don't forget to check out the list of canons! Moderator: Mal McPhee
Looking for someone to make your heart go flutter? Sizing up your sworn enemy? Make your intentions known here so we know whether to buy a prom dress or a shotgun.
Done in white with accents of blue and orange, the hallways are student territory. Whether you're making out or duking it out, if you're smart you can easily avoid getting caught by a teacher.
Aside from being where all the boring paperwork gets filed, this section contains the counselor's offices, the nurse's ward, and the dreaded Principal's office. You probably did something really serious if you got sent there...
(1 sub-board) Any time there's a school play or large assembly, it takes place in here. It's huge enough to seat the entire school, but unfortunately it also has truly grody orange seats.
(2 sub-boards) The gym is positively enormous and is decorated in the school colors of orange and blue. On the wall is a mural of the school's mascot, the Sorceror. The gym has the typical basketball hoops and volleyball court lines, but it also sports a climbing wall and an indoor track for rainy days.
The sports fields take up most of the school grounds, to accomodate all the athletes' needs. Soccer, football, baseball, track, tennis--all are accounted for.
Centered in the middle of the school, the courtyard sports lush plant life and a soothing koi pond. It also has a few benches for students to sit and relax at.
With eccentric decor that pays tribute to the artist Salvador Dali, Dali's Cafe is hardly your average restaurant. But it's not just the architecture that sets it apart, it's also the food. The menu is full of original combinations designed to tempt anyone's palate, for breakfast or lunch.
One of the best restaurants in the city, Délice Chic is also one of the fanciest. Dining here is a lavish, romantic affair, which of course translates to highly expensive. They have a strict dress code--suits for men, dresses for women. Still, a night at Délice Chic is sure to be one to remember.
St. Joe's is decked out in full Roman Catholic splendor: beautiful stained-glass windows, fragrant incense, and cushiony kneelers so you don't hurt your knees while petitioning the lord with prayer. But whatever religion you're a part of, St. Joseph's doors are open to anyone who needs to take a load off their shoulders. The church itself has been around for ages--some think since the days of the Spanish conquistadors.
Located just beside St. Joseph's, this old cemetery is filled with people from all walks of life. Humble headstones share space with magnificent mausoleums, and the whole thing is surrounded by an old wrought-iron fence. It's kind of peaceful, really, if you aren't susceptible to horror stories.
Built during the roaring 20's, The Burke Theater is small yet extravagant. It could be mistaken for an old opera house--indeed, they show plays and musicals here as well as movies. The Burke doesn't always get first-run shows, but the tickets are relatively cheap, and it's still a great spot for a date.
(1 sub-board) Just down a steep set of stairs right off the street lies the Burke bowling alley. The tiny bar against the back wall is stocked with every drink imaginable, though of course they don't serve alcohol to minors. On Friday nights they lower the disco ball for a good old cheesy round of Disco Bowling.
While not literally by the shore, Shoreside Mall does have everything a person could possibly want to buy. The list of shops goes on and on: Borders, Hot Topic, Abercrombie & Fitch, Spencer's, Victoria's Secret... and of course an expansive food court.
This apartment complex is home to some townies and even a few teachers. While most tenants choose to rent, you can buy a unit if you choose. (We know, then it technically wouldn't be an apartment, but referring to the whole place as "an apartment" just makes things easier.) Once you buy, you can do whatever you want with the decorating, so they can get quite personalized.
(1 sub-board) When not overrun by snot-nosed little kids, the park is actually quite serene. There's a few benches to sit and chill at, and a nice gravel path that circles around a humble pond. Though mostly surrounded by forest, there's a little bit of wetland at one end; if you come out early enough, you might even catch sight of a heron or two.
When your stress level gets to be too much and you need to get in some good solid partying, AVALON is the place to go. Their solid set of DJs will keep you dancing all night... along with the drugs that you can score from a number of sources, you naughty boy.
C'mon, boys, we all know where you go when you're feeling lonely and those singles are burning a hole in your pocket. You come here, a strip club that isn't a robbery and isn't a hole in the wall. Usually only boys come looking for a lap-dance, but they do have a Ladies' Night on Thursdays--with male strippers, of course.
